Trakke has a no hassle lifetime guarantee.

 

We have a simple mantra where the bag has developed a fault we will fix it no questions asked, where it’s taken beating over and above normal use we will repair it for a modest charge or offer a buy back.

 

We are proud of the products we’ve built, and even prouder of keeping them in service as long as possible. When you purchase a Trakke bag you are investing into a travelling companion, they are designed for a tough life but there not indestructible.

 

Buckles can break, zips can fail if you don’t take care. We specify the best components and build it without compromise but you need to look after it, and occasionally clean or reproof it.

Our repairs program is one of the ways that we attempt to lower our impact on the environment.

The vast majority of the carbon footprint of a bag is created by us, right here, at the manufacturing stage - so it’s our responsibility to make sure that the carbon investment we make in each bag is worthwhile. We have to build things to last - and crucially, we have to look after them throughout their lifetime.

 

PLEASE NOTE

While we endeavour to repair any issue, but we reserve the right to decline a repair if it is returned in an unhygenic condition or we feel that the product is at the end of its useable life.

 

Our Lifetime Warranty covers:

·          Manufacturing faults and defects

·          Items that break or fail that mean you can’t use the bag

 

Our Lifetime Warranty does not cover:

  • Normal ageing and fading of a product
  • Rips tears and scratches that are cosmetic
  • Accidents, or intentional damage
  • Poorly maintained, or overloaded zips
  • 2nds or Yardy items.
  • Non luggage items
  • Items bought before the 31/03/25, may not be covered.

 

GENERAL CARE TIPS

Proper maintenance is essential to extend the life of your bag.

Regular cleaning and reproofing will help to maintain the performance of the product and prevent damage caused by dirt, debris and moisture.

 

 We recommend reproofing your bag every 6-12 months depending on usage.
